The Special Events Committee meets in the Clubroom the first Thursday of the month (before the Auxiliary meeting). This committee is a team focused on: planning, communication, brainstorming, and fundraising. I'm working on the agenda and am open to suggestions thereto. Current topics are:
1. Brainstorming new fundraising opportunities (new ideas are Kentucky Derby Party, March Madness, and a farmers' market).
2. Partnership opportunity with the Detroit Dog Rescue.
3. Formalizing sponsorship solicitation strategies.
4. Reviewing survey questions.
5. Email Blast status.
6. Tigers game outing.
7. Local Pub Crawl outing.
8. Entertainment in the clubroom during the Fish Fry.
This committee is open to Post and Auxiliary Members who actively volunteer. See you there!
