The Smoky Mountain Storytellers Association is back again at Ijams to start the year off with some tales that will warm the soul even on the coldest day. Join in the rich heritage of storytelling on February 22 as they offer "Winter Tales", where tellers share some of their personal favorite stories to warm the heart. You will find a multitude of telling styles and genres among their members: whether it's traditional Appalachian tales, classical stories from foreign lands, contemporary fiction, or personal narratives, you're never quite sure what you may find as the next story unfolds. Doors open at 1:30 pm, stories begin at 2 pm. Tickets for this event are $10 for adults and $5 for kids (ages 5-12). This event is for all ages.
This event will happen in the large events room at the Ijams Visitor Center. Dogs are not allowed at this event.
