With Highline Spirits and a single-barrel bourbon crafted just for us!Calling all bourbon lovers! The Roadhouse has a surprise for you! We have secretly been working with the acclaimed Highline Spirits in Dexter to create something very special—a single-barrel bourbon blended just for the Roadhouse. We are releasing it at an exclusive boucherie-style dinner on Tuesday, October 15th, and we would love for you to be the first to taste it!
Highline Spirits believes that just as each of us is a blending of our accumulated unique experiences, great whiskeys can come from the blending of great unique ingredients. The founder and our guest of honor for this dinner, Christi Lower, seeks to find art and inspiration in all her blends, and is blazing a trail with her new line of regional spirits, blended and finished in Dexter, Michigan, where she grew up. We’re proud to work with Christi in the formulation of an exclusive, limited release blend for our bourbon-loving friends of the Roadhouse, and cannot think of a more appropriate occasion to release the barrel than at a dinner showcasing the best of Highline!
Everyone attending the dinner will get to savor a taste of our new bourbon! We will offer additional pours for purchase, and an optional flight from Highline Spirits to be enjoyed alongside a very special menu Chef Bob has created for this occasion. He is cooking up mouthwatering dishes featuring our new heritage Red Wattle pork from Bailey Terra Nova Farms in homage to la boucherie, a Louisiana tradition in which people come together to celebrate the life of the pig. The Red Wattle hogs that are raised at Bailey Terra Nova are done so humanely, sustainably, and with the utmost care. Chef Bob has designed each course to respectfully honor these animals, and we have mindfully selected only the best Highline whiskeys to properly salute them.
Please join us for this incredible, one-of-a-kind evening as we celebrate the tradition of really good food, finely crafted bourbon, and our amazing community of artisans, farmers, and friends! Here’s to all of you!
