Join us OCT 6th for our Special Edition of Scriptease!Iowa Stage Theatre Company is hosting Iowa State University’s production of Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare; Adapted and Directed by Brad Dell - frequent director of Shakespeare on the Lawn.
The event will be held at The Bank by the Little Book and showtime at 7:00 PM.
About The Play: In Julius Caesar, the beloved Roman general returns victorious, only to be met with growing fears of his rising power. A group of conspirators, led by Cassius and reluctantly joined by Brutus, assassinate Caesar to save the Republic—but their actions unleash chaos. As Mark Antony turns public opinion against them, civil war erupts, leading to betrayal, ghostly warnings, and tragic deaths on the battlefield, where Brutus dies with honor, remembered as "the noblest Roman of them all."
