Two part - Taxidermy workshop making a Jackalope Head mount (Intermediate)The Jackalope is a mythical animal of North American folklore, in the category of fearsome critters, described as a jackrabbit with antelope horns.
This is a two-day intermediate taxidermy workshop. Having taken our Beginner's Rat Taxidermy Workshop is encouraged but not necessary. Must be available for both dates & times for workshop.
October 26: 10AM-4PM
October 27: 10AM-4PM
In this class, you will learn how to prepare the rabbit, customize your form, preserve the skin, and mount your Jackalope. Including in-depth skills portions and taxidermy techniques. You will leave with a completed Jackalope head mount.
All materials and specimens will be provided. Bring water and a lunch or snacks, breaks can be taken as needed.
Children 14 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult. If you are booking for a child, please email us and let us know.
