In Colombia this magical night at the beginning of December marks the start of the Christmas season. Families and communities come together to light candles and lanterns, transforming their homes and streets into glowing displays of light. It is hard for us to replicate this in Canada where winter has begun, so Melanie and Yesii are taking it inside.

“La Noche des las Velidas” translates to “Night of the Candles”, and this dance party at STUDIO-G Hamilton will be just that.
