About this Event
Have you wanted to try out our contests, but don't have a team to join you? Come meet some new puzzling friends!
At this event, individuals will be placed into teams and then race to complete a 500 piece puzzle. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishing teams. There will also be door prizes. Teams will be able to keep their competition puzzle. Competitors must be 18 years old or older.
HOW DOES IT WORK:
Each team will receive the same puzzle concealed in a bag. No one will see the puzzle before the timer starts. After a countdown, teams will open their boxes and start puzzling. A competition judge will monitor teams and record finishing times. Once you have completed your puzzle, you may leave, or stay and work on another puzzle and enjoy a drink or two!
RULES:
- You may eat and drink while competing
- You may use box top holders and sorting trays
- You are allowed to bring extra lighting as long as it does not need to be plugged in to an outlet and does not interfere with the lighting for other competitors. These are great lights to use: https://amzn.to/3IAWd7S
- You are not allowed to distract or interfere with other teams
DETAILS:
12-12:30pm: Check-in and Meet and Greet! Check in with the event host and meet other puzzlers. You can choose to form a team on your own during this time, or wait for the host to place you on a team.
12:30-2:30pm: Speed puzzling contest starts - It's your time to shine!
Tables are a mixture of regular tables, booths, and high tops
There are no refunds.
