About this Event
April’s Special Collection Sunday has been curated by Poppy Bennett and Alec Temple.
'Trees and woodlands can be considered from many different angles; we have explored botany, social history, politics, art, local history, folklore and beyond! From books on the Bristol whitebeam found nowhere else in the world, to a jaunty poem set in Leigh Woods, join us to explore some of the best books about trees in the Bristol Central Library’s Collections.'
This event takes place in the Bristol Room, Central Library, on Sunday 24th March anytime between 2-4pm. This is an open event, no booking required. Please be aware that the capacity of the Bristol Room is limited and you may have to wait if there is high demand. We are keen to make this event open to all interested whilst ensuring the safety of our visitors and the collections.
