About this Event
Speaking 4 the Planet (S4P) is an arts-based approach to sustainability education. It is a competition for school students that invites students to express their views on matters related to the planet and their future. MidCoast Council has opened this competition up to include a an event for community members.
Council is inviting anyone within the community to create either physical art, writing, drama, or speech and to present your work at the community event on June 1st.
All submissions must focus on the competition topic - the future koalas are facing and our connections / experiences with them. Participants are to produce or present items that are original. They are invited to make their work quirky. It must have an impact on the audience and readers.
All community submissions will be either presented or displayed at this event so please join us to see the incredible works created by other local residents.
The length of the event will depend on the number of participants presenting works.
