About the ..... Royal Netherlands Navy - K XI Submarine
Which the two divers recently discovered this wreck off Perth, along with another #MAAWA member Patrick Morrison.
A team of deep-sea divers from Perth has discovered the wreckage of the Dutch submarine Hr. Ms. K XI off the coast of Fremantle in Western Australia.
The Royal Navy submarine once patrolled the waters of colonial Dutch-India (now Indonesia) and in 1942 rescued 13 survivors from an Australian ship that was sunk by Japanese warships.
There is so much to this story, we’d love to share it with YOU.
