Discover how aerial drone technology is being applied in areas such as intelligent pest management and food production.

Featuring AIFS researcher Zhaodan Kong, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Director of the Cyber-Human-Physical Systems Lab (CHPS Lab), and part of the UC Davis Center for Spaceflight Research.

Join Dr. Zhaodan Kong on the UC Davis campus as he presents case studies from his work using UAS, or drones, to advance precision agriculture. He will illustrate some of the challenges and opportunities of agricultural UAS from an engineering perspective.

Part of UC Davis Engineer Week.

Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.

This event is available in hybrid format to attend in person or online.
