The March speaker is Mark Hedden-Florida Keys Audubon Society Executive Director, Artist-in-Residence at The Studios of Key West, Nature Photographer, Writer and the Keys’ best known “bird man”. His topic is: “Flamingos in the Keys: What’s the Deal?”Admission for the speaker is free for members and $5 for non-members. All proceeds directly benefit the Garden’s conservation program. Be sure to come early for the Native Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to noon. It offers 150 species of butterfly—and bird-attracting native, rare, and endangered plants propagated in the Garden’s Native Nursery.
