About this Event
Planting native plants is a great way to build biodiversity, conserve water, and adapt to climate change. At the Center for Land-Based Learning's Headquarters, over a mile of native plant hedgerows have been installed for all of these reasons. The California Native Plant Society will discuss benefits and methods of gardening with plants that are adapted for our region, lead a walk along the hedgerows, and discuss the tools available for enjoying and preserving native plants, the foundation of our ecosystems.
From 4:30-5:30, enjoy hot woodfired pizza, cold beverages and great conversation. Presentation begins at 5:30.
