In 2018, then Tulsa, OK mayor G.T. Bynum initiated the first physical investigation into the recovery of the victims of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. Join the panelists – consisting of those working on the project and descendants of survivors of the massacre – as they discuss the project’s goals, the identification of unmarked graves, the interpretation of the site and violent events, and the recognition of this part of Tulsa’s past.This event is free to attend and sponsored by the Crown Hill Foundation, Indiana Landmarks, and the City of Indianapolis.
