We'll discuss regions where it remains a major public health concern and efforts to eliminate canine-mediated transmission using education and vaccination campaigns to achieve the goal of a rabies-free world."Dr. Calinger-Yoak is the Director of the Zoo and Conservation Science program at Otterbein and teaches courses on wildlife conservation, anatomy and physiology, computer modeling, and others. Prior to Otterbein, he managed a rabies vaccination program in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, worked for the National Park Service, and completed his PhD at Ohio State investigating street dog disease prevalence in Rajasthan, India.
