This is a speaker event with a brief club AGM.We are delighted to have Debz Eagle as our guest speaker. Debz joined the Christchurch Peony Club last year in time to be part of the Timaru Peony tour and we have discovered she is a very interesting and active person. She will be talking to us about two things:
• Debz work as an artist pressing flowers and using their parts in the creation of artwork. She displayed some of her pressed peony artwork at last year's Peony Flower Show. She is highly regarded in this field and is running workshops through the Canterbury Horticultural Society www.chsgardens.co.nz/product/pressed-flowers
• Debz involvement with the Just Dirt Trust which helping people to garden. They work with homeowners and community groups who are creating community gardens.
