The Return of ‘Speakeasy’ at its brand new home…Casablabla!!!Adelaide’s underground Jazz & Jump Blues night is back! The beloved ‘Speakeasy’ returns for an unforgettable evening, bringing the spirit of Supermild Lounge Bar roaring back to life. Once held regularly at the iconic underground haunt on Hindley Street - an institution in the West End from 1999 to 2016—Speakeasy was a celebration of some of the best sounding music from the early to mid twentieth century, elegance, and good times.
Originally created by DJ Gumshoe and featuring DJ Zooma from the very beginning, the night became known for its amazing mix of Jazz, Blues, Soul & Country from the 1920s to the 1960s. With guest DJs and a crowd that knew how to dress to impress, it was an event unlike any other.
Wednesday, September 24 from 7pm - DJ Gumshoe @djgumshoe is joined by fellow DJs…Dagga @nikfahey and original Speakeasy resident Zooma @anthony.ll.dj to spin the tunes that made Speakeasy legendary.
