About this Event
Join us for the Speak Up! Shield, a charity soccer match in support of Athletes' Mental Health, as the TMU Bold take on the York University Lions at the Zanchin Automotive Soccer Centre in Vaughan, Ontario.
We are a group of six fourth-year sport media students at Toronto Metropolitan University who are hosting and broadcasting this event as our final-year practicum project. We are dedicated to raising awareness for athletes' mental health, breaking the stigma, and creating change in this space. Not only does your ticket provide you entry into the match, but your contribution will go towards covering our production costs, with any additional funds donated to organizations which support athletes' mental health.
