About this Event
Emma and Dean’s wedding starts soon – once the groom has stopped crying. Wait downstairs, have a champagne, ignore the screaming. Behold the bride: she looks divine.
Down below is the antechamber, where the watchers wait and listen. Only one guest has arrived – an old school friend and the only other girl who knows, really knows, what goes on in this world. Except that, two days ago, things changed. She now feels… strangely optimistic.
Speak Now is a monologue for the uncanny – the deep unnerving sense that something (I can’t quite put my finger on it) is not quite right.
