I’m excited!! � The format of the speaker club is changing – starting this week!
It’s still a collaborative, playful and creative space for you to build your confidence and develop your speaking skills and an opportunity to practise a presentation, speech or talk but with an added learning element.
So, what happens when:
� 6.30 – 7 pm. (optional) Gather in the Patch Cafe for pre-session networking
� 7 pm: Warm up and some ‘playing’, of course and then...
We’ll be talking VISUALS – slides that is!
� Come closer, I want to tell you a secret…
If you start prepping for a presentation by creating your slides you’ve got things back to front. It’s the reason, you’re putting people to sleep!
Your slides aren't your script—they're your stage.
Think of them as your backdrop, your 'set' that brings your story to life (without stealing the show.)
This is all about visual storytelling - pure visuals. No text dumps. No bullet point boredom. Just powerful images that illustrate, underline and amplify what you're saying and make your key points memorable.
