The World’s #1 Obstacle Course Race will be heading back to amazing Auckland in 2022!Thanks to Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development, Spartan is proud to bring our race back to Auckland, New Zealand!
Here at Spartan, we believe in pushing yourself further. Whether you want to get yourself moving and do your first Spartan Race or you are eager to beat your personal best, Spartan is the event for you!
We have the following race formats on offer for our Auckland event for ALL:
Friday 9th Dec ~ 10K Night Trail
Saturday 10th Dec ~ 10K Super, 25 Obstacles
Saturday 10th Dec ~ 5K Sprint, 20 Obstacles
Sunday 11th Dec ~ 4HR Hurricane Heat (starts at 7am)
Sunday 11th Dec ~ Kids Race (open and our new competitive waves!)
When Spartan takes over Auckland, you'll find yourself climbing, crawling, jumping, and swinging over, under, and through some of the best obstacles in the world! We'll have our usual DJ & epic speaker setup on site, as well as a bunch of top-notch food trucks and other activation's waiting for you in the festival area. Get your mates together, form your team, don your Spartan helmets, and have a go at Spartan!
Take on both the Sprint and the Super on the same day and save some cash. By receiving both the Sprint and Super medals, you'll be two thirds of the way to your Spartan Trifecta! Combo racers will race in their chosen Super wave, and can then jump into any open Sprint wave once they have finished their Super.
Kids don't miss out on the fun either, Spartan Kids will takeover Auckland on Sunday 11th of December! It's the perfect way for your kids to get active in a safe and supportive environment!
