The Sparks Police Department is hosting a 5k to raise awareness of domestic violence. Proceeds will benefit the Sparks Police Department Victim Services Unit to provide resources to more community members in need following traumatic and violent crime. There will be local resource groups on scene to discuss what they do and provide information to those interested.Run starts at 9 a.m. and there will be a resource fair on scene starting at 7 a.m. until around noon.
