Marlborough RSA is currently fundraising for a dedicated room for their precious memorabilia.The Sparkle Project is heading to Blenheim to host a jewellery making fundraiser evening.
What do you need to know?
* 100% of funds raised will be given to the Marlborough RSA
* Gold coin koha to attend the jewellery making event
* The Sparkle Project will bring all the beads, findings and tools
* You don't need to know how to make jewellery - the Sparkle Project Sparkettes will be on hand to finish off after you design your piece
Other questions we are usually asked:
* Is it ladies only? Not at all! Men are more than welcome, and children from the age of 7 can also come make on the day
* Is it for RSA member only? No - anyone is welcome. The more the merrier!
* Can you keep your creations? Yes - just give another koha to the Sparkettes and you can take it home. 100% of these donations will also be given to the Marlborough RSA
* Can you do a repair? Yes - we can do most repairs on the day. Please bring your jewellery you would like repaired to the event and see Queen Rose. Repair fees for those done on the day will be donated the Marlborough RSA
* How can I help the Sparkle Project? There are 2 ways you can help the Sparkle Project keep doing events like this one:
> Bring along any old, unloved, broken jewellery, stray beads
or odd earrings. We always need more beads!
