A valley tradition since 2018, Sparkle Havdallah celebrates the end of Shabbat and the start of the week with both new and ancient traditions. Wear your sparkly best (or just come as you are) as we say goodbye to Shabbat with a braided candle, spices and grape juice, with fabulous music and stories and crafts.Space is limited, so please purchase your tickets in advance!
Tickets are $5 for an individual and $10 for family. All are welcome - if cost is a barrier, please contact [email protected] for a pay-what-you-can option.
Doors open at 6pm, with crafts and other hands-on activities, followed by Havdallah, storytime, and singing led by the Queer Joy Chorus.
We are experimenting with this beloved event. While in the past the event often featured drag story performers, this year we are so excited to partner with Queer Joy Chorus for a song-filled and story-filled night.
Fabulous book selection for sale by High Five Books!
This event is co-sponsored by Lander~Grinspoon Academy, Gan Keshet Preschool, Beit Ahavah, the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, Congregation B'nai Israel, Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts, and High Five Books.
