About this Event
GWEITHDAI NEWYDD
Mae SBARC, y parc ymchwil gwyddorau cymdeithasol newydd ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd, yn gweithio gyda Chyngor Gweithredu Gwirfoddol Cymru, Cyngor Trydydd Sector Caerdydd (C3SC) ac aelodau eraill o Bartneriaeth Ymchwil Trydydd Sector, i gyflwyno ail rownd o weithdy ymchwil i sefydliadau yng Nghaerdydd ym mis Tachwedd eleni.
Os ydych chi'n sefydliad bach i ganolig yn y sector gwirfoddoli (e.e. elusen, sefydliad cymunedol, menter gymdeithasol…) ac wedi bod yn weithredol yng Nghaerdydd ers o leiaf dwy flynedd, gallai hyn fod yn addas i chi.
Bydd y gweithdai yn eich helpu i fyfyrio ar weithgareddau eich sefydliad, archwilio a mapio eich anghenion ymchwil a meddwl sut gall ymchwil helpu i gyflawni amcanion eich sefydliad.
RHAGOR O GEFNOGAETH
Gallai gweithgaredd o'r fath arwain at gymorth pellach gan academyddion ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd gyda chynllunio a dulliau ymchwil, ceisiadau am gyllid ymchwil, neu hyd yn oed fyfyriwr ar leoliad gyda chi i ymgymryd â rhywfaint o ymchwil.
Gallai hefyd ein galluogi ni i'ch cysylltu chi â chanfyddiadau ymchwil presennol sy’n berthnasol. Gallai mynediad at waith ymchwil o’r fath gefnogi ymarfer sy’n fwy seiliedig ar dystiolaeth neu fod yn gyfle i chi lywio cyfeiriad ymchwil yn y dyfodol.
Yn gyffredinol, ein nod yw y bydd cydweithrediadau o’r fath yn cyfrannu at berthnasoedd ymchwil tymor hirach rhwng sefydliadau yn y sector gwirfoddoli a’r Brifysgol.
CYSYLLTWCH Â NI
Os na allwch chi ddod i unrhyw un o'r sesiynau, ond â diddordeb mewn cymorth ymchwil, cysylltwch ag Anna Skeels [email protected] neu Dave Horton [email protected]
NEW WORKSHOPS
SPARK, the new social science research park at Cardiff University, is working with Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA), Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC) and other members of a Third Sector Research Partnership, to deliver a second round of research workshops for Cardiff-based organisations in November this year.
If you are a small to medium-sized voluntary sector organisation (e.g., a charity, community-based organisation, social enterprise) and have been operational in Cardiff for at least two years, this could be for you.
The workshops will help you to reflect on your organisation’s activities, explore and map out your research needs and think about how research can help to meet your organisation’s objectives.
FURTHER SUPPORT
Such activity could then lead to further support from academics in Cardiff University on research design, methods, applications for research funding, or even a student on placement with you to undertake some research.
It could also enable us to connect you with existing relevant research findings. Access to such research could support more evidenced-based practice or a chance for you to steer the direction of future research.
Overall, our aim is that such collaborations will contribute to longer term research relationships between voluntary sector organisations and the University.
GET IN TOUCH
