Spark your child’s imagination with this free hour-long workshop designed for kids ages 6-12 with a presentation and then hands-on related activity!This month features Emily Stewart, a Board-Certified Music Therapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist providing music therapy services to people of all ages and abilities. Em believes that music is a community necessity, and enjoys exploring life stories through sound. In the workshop, Em will share the joys of musical expression through teaching improvisation skills, body rhythm games, the basics of singing technique, music and movement, and more. Each participant will receive an egg shaker instrument to keep the rhythms rocking at home.
