Spark Internships began as a simple whiteboard sketch aimed at solving two pressing challenges:
- Limited civic awareness among Pierce County youth.
- Generative-AI bans in schools that leave students unprepared for tomorrow’s tech landscape.
Backed 100 % by community sponsors, the program equips young adults with deep-research methods, authentic storytelling skills, and the ethical use of AI to amplify real voices. Six trailblazing interns have spent their summer mastering prompt engineering, multimodal production, and digital narrative craft. Join us as they showcase their work, share their journeys, and inspire the next wave of innovators.
