About this Event
Session Summary:
Substance and alcohol abuse affects not only individuals—but entire workplaces, families, and communities. During Sober October, we’re opening up a real conversation about what recovery looks like, what support truly means, and how we can create environments where people feel safe to seek help and grow.
This Spark Conversation will bring together recovery advocates, employers, mental health professionals, and community voices to discuss how we can reduce stigma, support those in recovery, and create business and family systems that recognize addiction as a public health issue—not a personal failure.
This is more than awareness—it’s about building a stronger, more compassionate community that understands recovery is a shared responsibility.
