Welcome to SPARK - The Apprenticeship Marketplace - a matchmaking event run by the University of Central Lancashire. This event will allow future apprentices to take part in speed pitching interviews with employers for Degree Apprenticeship vacancies in the Chartered Manager programme.

To attend this event you must be fully registered with the Apprenticeship Matching Service (AMS) - if you are not please . If you do not register we are unable to match you with vacancies in order to provide you with interview opportunities on the day.

UCLan Degree Apprenticeship A-Z

The morning will consist of numerous speed pitching interviews, it is the perfect place to network with people in your desired career sector. It will give you a chance to speak 1:1 with multiple company representatives all in the same place, allowing you a chance to present yourself to potential employers. If you make a good impression, you may secure an interview with the employer and even a Degree Apprenticeship vacancy.

Please note to be eligible for a Degree Apprenticeship you must have been a resident within the UK for at least the last three consecutive years before the apprenticeship start date. To be suitable for our SPARK event you must have completed or be in your final year of further education, equivalent to a Level 3 qualification, ready for a January intake. If you don’t have Level 3 learning, relevant work experience will be considered.

Places are limited so please register today, this will enable us to book your interview slots as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

The event includes:

· Ten minute speed pitching interviews

· The chance to secure a Degree Apprenticeship

· Industry guest speakers

· Networking opportunities throughout

· Refreshments will be provided

The outcomes for all prospective apprentices on the day will be:

· Secure a final interview with an employer for a Degree Apprenticeship

· Gain a work placement leading to a potential Degree Apprenticeship

· Continue to work with UCLan's Apprenticeship Matching Service for future vacancies

Filming and photography permissions: There will be photography and filming throughout the event. During the online registration process, you will be asked to give your permission

for filming and photography of you to be used by the University for marketing purposes including (but not limited to) University websites, on and offline publications, public relations messages and other advertising, such as social media, brochures, information leaflets, adverts, posters and other formats to promote the University and to promote University courses at its partner institutions.
