The Jubilee Year of Hope, a special year of celebration and spiritual renewal in the Catholic Church, includes Ember Saturday Masses.The third Ember Mass will be in Spanish at Mary Our Queen Church on Saturday, September 20, at 10 a.m. It will be celebrated by Bishop Ned Shlesinger.
A rosary will begin at 9 a.m.
On Ember days, the Church is encouraged to offer thanks, engage in fasting and abstinence, pray for priests, vocations to the priesthood and offer alms or support to those in need.
