The social meet up primarily for Spacedock Birmingham & Autobase Birmingham, to catch up with each other, get to know each other and discuss future endeavours. In the future meetings may have a more structured approach similar to other local Trek clubs, but to start with we expect this to be a small get together to build the future of the club from. CoVID-19 variants are still rife in the West Midlands conurbation, so it is very stroingly recommended that attendees have had their vaccinations completed 2 weeks prior to the event, where it is possible for the person to be vaccinated against this family of viruses. I would also strongly recommend getting the 2021 flu vaccine as soon as you are able. I would also request that all attendees complete a lateral flow test if they have no CoVID-19 symtoms prior to arriving (but no earlier than the night before). If you have symptoms that may be a cold or flu please stay home until you are fully recovered as different variants have different cold/flu type symptoms.
We are in a semi-segregated area to the right and behind the bar as you come through the main entrance (the one on the corner with no steps.) The general manager has offered us some free tea and coffee, but there is a also a good value menu of food and drink that you can purchase from.
Children are welcome at the venue until 10pm - but I think that's probably late enough for all of us anyway!
