About this Event
If you are a teenage girl, finding life hard, feeling low and in need of a boost this group is for you. Our woodland wellbeing group is a warm and welcoming space to relax , connect with nature and be yourself. We meet fortnightly in Brandy Hole Copse Wood.
Join Abbie, Laura and Rachel -all fully qualified forest school leaders, for some adventuring in the woods! Take part in fun activities: including fire lighting, campfire cooking, natural art, bush craft, nature and conservation activities, den building, rope swings and woodland games and learn to use woodcraft tools safely. Or, simply spend some time in the woods beign mindful and having some 'space to breathe.'
This is an opportunity to meet others who may be going through similar experiences; to make friends and just enjoy the freedom of the woods. A boost to anyone who is struggling with their mental health.
We will be cooking lunch over the campfire as part of the programme. Please let us know any special dietary needs when you book (or feel free to bring a packed lunch)
You'll end each session feeling happy and relaxed and better able to manage the week ahead.
To fully benefit we would encourage regular attendance. u
