About this Event
While America and China engage in an increasingly heated geopolitical competition over the Moon, commercial firms in both countries and around the world are poised to profit from a boom in space communications, imaging, data, resources and manufacturing. Learn what you should know and how you might profit from the second space race from UCF Associate Provost for Space Commercialization & Strategy Greg Autry, Ph.D., at the next Dean's Speaker Series breakfast Thursday, Nov. 21, from 7:30-9 a.m., at the Citrus Club.
Dr. Autry is the author of Red Moon Rising: How America Will Beat China on the Final Frontier, as well as an entrepreneur and space policy expert. Based in the College of Business as a professor of practice, Dr. Autry is collaborating with colleges, academic leaders and space faculty to bolster industry ties and help shape the university's space strategy. He also will lead a new business research initiative and efforts to create space-related commercial executive and MBA programs to support Florida’s space economy.
Breakfast and parking are included with registration. Seating is limited, so please RSVP today. We look forward to seeing you there!
