Spa Thermal Park to Huka FallsSaturday 23rd November
Difficulty Level: Easy/mod
Leaving Time: 7am
Cost: $34 (for transport)

This is a loop walk starting from the Spa Thermal Park in Taupo out to the Famous Huka Falls. We'll stop for a dip in the hot pools of the Otumuheke Stream on the return leg. We'll complete two walks beside lake Taupo on the way to and from Taupo.

What to bring
Day pack
Sturdy walking shoes or tramping boots with good grip
Drink Bottle - 1-2 litres
Rain Jacket
Warm Clothing - wear or pack (can still get cold in summer)
Sun hat or warm beanie – pack one and wear the other
Sunglasses – wear or pack
Packed lunch and snacks – pack more than you think you'll need
First Aid Kit (if you have one, otherwise leaders will have some)
Money for Ice Cream and/ or a hot drink afterward (optional)
Spear shoes & a change of clothes to leave in cars
We meet at the car park for Church on Ingestre, which is on the Cnr Ingestre & Campbell Streets, let us know if you need a ride to the car park. We can also pick up en route. The toilet at COI may not always be available.
