This free, family-friendly, Urban Astronomy public event is hosted by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (Winnipeg Centre) and UM Properties Inc., the land developer of the Southwood Circle "UniverCity" - a new urban community development situated adjacent to the University of Manitoba Fort Garry campus.
No registration required.
There will be food trucks, giveaways & prize draws, as well as presentations about astronomy and the Southwood Circle development,
Attendance prize draws to be held around 9 pm onsite. Draw winners must be present in-person onsite during the prize draw.
Free parking on nearby Q Lot. There will be outdoor signage and event parking attendants to help direct vehicles to designated event parking on Q Lot.
