Join us for the opening of the Southwest Washington Wind Symphony's 20th anniversary season at the "Celebrations" concert conducted by Patrick Murphy, Director of Bands at the University of Portland. The 55-musician wind symphony will perform Americans We by Henry Filmore, Sanctuary by Frank Ticheli, Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral by Richard Wagner, Olympic Fanfare and Theme by John Williams (conducted by Chris Sigman, Evergreen Public Schools music educator), and more. At the concert SWWS volunteers will host a fundraising raffle of an original fine art painting by Keith Lindberg a contemporary American artist whose colorful and energetic paintings have garnered an international following.
