After the positive reception of our recent January Plant Swap, we have planned another. This time to also include seeds for the start of the growing season. Plant and Seed Swaps are wonderful community events for plant lovers to get together and share/acquire plants for their homes and gardens for FREE.
Our swap will take place in The Engine Room within the historic Wayfarers Arcade in Southport. The cafe will be open if you want to buy a drink during the swap.
Rules of Plant & Seed Swapping: No money changes hands during a swap, simply bring one or more plants to swap on the day. Bring one plant, swap for one. Bring two plants, swap for two and so on. If you are bringing any seeds, please ensure that they are in date and if collected from your own garden, labelled clearly with any helpful instructions for sowing.
Plants can be in the form of a potted plant, cutting or seedling. It can be rooted in a pot or wrapped in a bag to keep moist.
Please note - Any indoor plants left over on the day will be kept for the next plant swap. Any garden plants or seed packets will be donated to a local community garden for growing on.
