Have some fun with this unique and fast-growing sport where 'Soft-Feel' is the guiding principle. Jen Hawkins is an endorsed Cowboy Dressage Clinician and Educator who brings valuable knowledge from a lifetime in the equine world. She combines her background in Classical Dressage with Australian Horsemanship and 40 years of dedicated breeding and handling of youngsters.Open to all levels of experience, this two-day clinic is the first opportunity for Southern Tasmanian Cowboy Dressage enthusiasts, to train with Jen Hawkins to further develop their skills and grow their partnerships with their horses. Whether or not you are competing in the official State Cowboy Dressage Gathering on 22nd/23rd February, at Longford Indoor Arena, (https://www.facebook.com/share/p/up8UWDwRj8SSKBmA/), come along and share in the joy of creating 'Soft Feel' with your horse.
The clinic will focus on lateral movements and transitions to develop better engagement, balance and 'Soft Feel', including a session on ground skills to support these developments in both horse and rider.
All levels of riders and breeds of horses are welcome. Only 10 rider positions are available.
