Are you a fan of the Motown sound? Southern Soul - Great Southern W.A.'s very own 12-piece soul band - brings the greatest hits of the Motown era to Albany Port Theatre this November.
Celebrate the golden years of Motown, featuring the music of The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Barrett Strong, Martha & the Vandellas, Stevie Wonder, The Marvelettes, Diana Ross & the Supremes, Jackson 5 & more…
Southern Soul have been wowing audiences in the Great Southern since 2020, with themed shows including The Commitments, Blues Brothers meet the Soul Sisters & The Story of Soul. You'll enjoy non-stop hits with four top vocalists, a four-piece horn section and a Motown rhythm section.
The band will be newly joined by vocal sensations Julia Anwar and Jonelle Grochowski, alongside Jen Croston and Rusty Lynch.
You can hear Southern Soul’s Motown Revue from 7:30 p.m. this Friday 21st of November and 3:30 p.m. Sunday November. Doors open at half-an-hour before the advertised start time. BYO Food and Drink. Kiosk open for snacks. Tickets are available from Paperbark Merchants and on the door.
