About this Event
In this sommelier-led wine tasting, you'll get to taste wines from two of the Southern Rhône's top winemaking estates.
Vieux Télégraphe is one of Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s most revered estates, known for producing wines of extraordinary depth and complexity from the famed La Crau plateau—an area renowned for its unique combination of sun-soaked vineyards and mineral-rich soils. These wines have the structure and balance to evolve beautifully in the cellar for decades, making them a must for collectors. Yet, they are also stunning for immediate enjoyment, offering a rich, layered experience that pairs effortlessly with a wide variety of dishes.
From Les Pallières, we’ll be showcasing two distinctive red wines that reveal different expressions of the Gigondas terroir. Les Racines, made from vines planted near the winery, highlights the old-vine intensity with rich fruit, earthy undertones, and excellent structure. Les Terrasses du Diable, sourced from higher-altitude vineyards, offers a fresher, more mineral-driven profile with a bit more tension and spice—perfect for those who enjoy vibrant, expressive reds. Both bottlings are excellent choices for either cellaring or immediate enjoyment at the table.
Leading the tasting will be our own Charlie Gaeta. Charlie will guide you through each wine, sharing insights into the winemaking process and the rich history behind these exceptional wines.
This tasting provides access to some of the finest Rhône wines available today. Whether you're a long-time fan of these producers or just beginning to explore their offerings, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
