Open Redfish Tournament!$450 per two man team entry fee. Three largest Redfish, brought in alive, caught on artificial, on tournament day, within the state slot limit. Single biggest weight fish pot is $50 entry.
Total purse depends on boats in field but first place usually takes home 5k-10k and we pay out through third place. Big fish pot payout estimate $1000-$2000 additional.
Tournament day is October 4th, blast off is at first safe light, out of Marsh Pirate. All boats and compartments must be inspected prior to blast off. Boat inspection will start well before first safe light with exact time determined at Captain's Meeting
No boundaries but additional fuel cells are not allowed.
Participants may stop, by boat, at a marina to refuel. Weigh-in starts 2pm at Marsh Pirate all boats must be in by 3:30pm or face disqualification.
Alcohol and drugs are not allowed. Personal flotation devices and K*ll switch must be worn when under propulsion of outboard engine. Rules must be signed off on at time of registration. Everyone is subject to a professionally administered polygraph test. Team meeting is night before, October 3rd, at Marsh Pirate, check-in starts at 5pm followed by mandatory Captain's Meeting at 6pm.
