Low toned heavy tempos from Finland, originally formed by Keijo Niinimaa (Rotten Sound, Goatburner) in 2014 to have a counterpart for grindcore. Their unique mix of doom, death, drone and sludge is always at best when experiencing them live, with wall of sound through serious amplifier worshipping.
Morbid Evils have toured Europe multiple times and have played tons of shows in Finland over the year. Touring company has inoluded Voïvod (CAN), The Ocean (GER/SUI), Entombed A.D. (SWE), Lord Dying (US), Goatburner (FIN) and Oceanwake (FIN). Their first two albums were released in 2015 and 2017 by Svart Records. Third album was released in August 2022 through Transcending Obscurity records. Morbid Evils is currently in process of writing their fourth album, to be released in 2026.

Hailing from Turku, Finland, SVARTA HAVET are set to release their sophomore album, titled “Månen ska lysa din väg”, via their new label home Prosthetic Records on May 9. On “Månen ska lysa din väg”, the self-described dyster (gloomy) post-hardcore group cast a critical eye over the negative effects of Western colonialism, capital greed and convenience at the cost of sustainability, presenting a rallying cry for change whilst never losing sight of the light that this world has to offer.
Formed in 2018, SVARTA HAVET - translated as “black sea” - were born from the Finnish DIY punk and hardcore scene, with the members bonding over a shared affinity for punk music and community-first ideals with a focus on antifascist, feminist, trans and queer politics.

Backthroe aus Nürnberg liefern schnörkellosen Hardcore-Punk mit melodischer Schlagseite – inspiriert vom Youth Crew der 90er und getragen von gesellschaftskritischen Texten. Gegründet 2024, sind sie jetzt reif für die Bühne. Ihre Debüt-Single „Wedge“ erscheint am 05.09., gefolgt von der EP „Visions of Acting“ am 10.10. Mit 8 Songs in 25 Minuten Live-Set machen die drei Musiker klar, dass sie noch eine Rechnung mit der Welt offen haben. Und diese wird beglichen mit purer Spielfreude und Hingabe. Wer bei den kurzen, geradlinigen Songs an Genre-Veteranen wie Battery, Gorilla Biscuits, Uniform Choice oder Ignite denkt, liegt völlig richtig.
