Southern Gothicc Futurist haiku slams returns to the Twisted Branch Tea Bazaar, on Thursday, September 18, at 7 pm. We'll have an open sign-up Haiku Slam, and a quicker paced Battle Royal. We define haiku for our purposes as any short poem 17 syllables or less. You'd need anywhere from 15-25 for the main haiku slam, and as few as 3 for the battle royal. But having more to pick from to match your opponent is always best.We'll also need judges, joyful spectators, and the power of lounge. So come bring a notebook of haiku to compete, or just show up to watch. Hosted by your boy dirtgod.
