Southern Accents captures the spirit and sound of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers’ legendary concerts.
Sing along to the best of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers as Southern Accents authentically replicate the sound, feel and look of their legendary concerts. From “Free Fallin’” and “American Girl” to “Learning to Fly” and “Don’t Do Me Like That,” this tribute captures the spirit, sound and soul of one of rock’s greatest artists. Doors open at 5 p.m.
The Artist:
Southern Accents: The Ultimate Tom Petty Experience, based in Nashville, TN, features some of the best musicians from a state rich in musical history. What began in early 2017 as a tribute to Tom Petty quickly turned into sold-out shows across the country. The band’s goal is to authentically replicate the sound, feel, and look of a classic Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers concert.
Lead singer Ronnie Gregg captures Petty’s voice and mannerisms with ease, while lead guitarist Nick Swan nails the iconic guitar work of Mike Campbell. Bassist Paul Jones blends the styles of Ron Blair and Howie Epstein, and drummer Tony Mac channels the energy of Stan Lynch and Steve Ferrone. Keyboardist Jeff Hollandsworth adds the final touches, recreating the essence of Benmont Tench with added strings, horns, and harmonica. Named after one of Petty’s most personal songs, Southern Accents embodies the spirit of the South, where every note begins with a southern accent. Catch them in a city near you.

Since 2020, The Mount at The Forge: Lemont Quarries has been an incredible addition to the daily adventurous activities including rock climbing, ziplining, kayaking, archery and more. The Forge: Lemont Quarries has something to Exhilarate, Educate and Entertain adventurers of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
