This Trans Day of Visibility join us for a powerful day of unity celebration and action. As our state faces continued challenges with anti-trans legislation coming together as a community is more important than ever. We’re in the early stages of planning an event that promises not only to uplift and celebrate trans joy but also to empower and educate.
WHAT TO EXPECT:

- two one-month-long displays at the Iowa City Public Library
Sunday March 24th 11:00am-12:30pm:
We are kicking off the events a full week before Trans Day of Visibility with a special Coffee Chat focused on the the way our trans community's autonomy is being threatened by our legislature. We will talk about what's happening and how we can get involved in fighting back and in building systems of support here at home. Ranshaw House North Liberty Iowa

- Updates letter & postcard writing with supplies & templates available

-Teach-Ins & Brainstorming Sessions: Dive into discussions on combating anti-
trans legislation and explore ways to strengthen our community through
mutual aid direct support and more.
Rally & Celebration: Join us in joy and solidarity featuring speakers who inspire and lead.
Tabling: Connect with organizations doing critical
work for and with the trans community.

Trans Individuals: We want to hear from you! What do you want to see at this event? What experiences or topics are most important to you? Your input will shape our day of visibility and action.
Local Businesses & Allies: Show your support! We’re looking for sponsors and partners who want to make a difference. Whether through providing financial support food water services or volunteering your involvement is crucial.
