About this Event
Are you a diver looking to learn more about corals and a fun way to help your local reefs? Join us to take this official training that will enable you to properly assess coral condition and submit reports to contribute to coral monitoring in Florida.
This is an official Southeast Florida Action Network (SEAFAN) BleachWatch Observer Training created by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Coral Reef Conservation Program.
This two hour training will cover other topics such as:
- Coral biology
- Overview of coral bleaching & disease
- Overview of BleachWatch Early Warning Program
