Just a reminder about our IN-PERSON meeting on Saturday, 9/13/2025 @ noon.AGENDA: SWOBA member, Paula Smith, talks about her experiences with the FLOW HIVE system. We will also talk about what you may need to do in the coming weeks to prepare your hives for Winter.
Although we consider ourselves to be an educational organization, we also want to emphasize that beekeepers are a social group with the desire to chat, tell stories, compare ideas and help our bees thrive. With that in mind, feel free to come early to the meeting…maybe 11:30 am while we set up. Come, introduce yourself and find someone to talk with.
Location is Winton Woods Farm and Equestrian Center (formerly Parky’s Farm) located at 10073 Daly Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231. The meeting will be held in the HayLoft.
This is a pot luck luncheon, so please bring your favorite dish to share. SWOBA will provide a meat and cheese platter along with bread and condiments. Lunch begins at noon followed by the meeting at 12:30PM. Weather permitting, we will open the hives around 1:30-1:45 PM. Please bring whatever protective equipment you feel comfortable with.
