Limited to 12 participants. Team Teach Level 1 is a 6-hour course that teaches positive behaviour management strategies for low-risk settings:
Audience: Anyone working in a low-risk primary or secondary school
Topics covered:
- Legal issues and implications of physical control
- Understanding behaviour
- Communication skills
- De-escalation strategies
- Positive handling skills
- The legal framework
- How feelings drive behaviours
- Personal safety
- Behaviour as communication
- Teamwork and communication
Attendees need to provide their Team Teach certificate number as part of the booking process as well as their own individual email address.
