Derek Loccident is a 2-time Paralympic silver medalist in track and field, representing Team USA at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. An Oklahoma City native, Derek’s remarkable journey began after a train accident in 2018. Since then, he has overcome adversity with incredible determination, becoming a standout athlete in the long jump and 100-meter dash. Now training at the elite athlete center in San Diego, Derek exemplifies resilience and inspires everyone he meets.
