(Note: Please don't park at Kismet, thanks!)South Main Street echoes with the voices of Verona generations past. Soldiers and pastors, doctors and teachers, immigrants and founding families - they all left their fingerprints on our town...and on this street. During these 90-ish minute walking tours you will hear their stories as you stand where they once did. Our hope is that you come away feeling more connected to Verona's past, with eyes opened to the many ways it's still with us.
Dates: The same tour will be given on the following dates:
*Wednesday, May 22nd, 7:00pm.
*Saturday, May 25th, 1:00pm.
No registration is needed, simply show up. If the crowd gets too big, we might ask some folks to come back for a different tour.
Duration: 90-ish Minutes (you can leave at any time).
Distance: About 1 mile. There are sporadic opportunities to sit.
Starting point: Please meet in the lower parking lot of Kismet Books, 101 South Main Street in Verona. Please do not park at Kismet Books - we don't want to fill up their lot, thanks!
